SEATTLE — A person is in custody after a gun was seized by staff at a high school in Seattle, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed to KIRO Newsradio.
Police were unable to confirm whether the person in custody was a student.
Officers responded to Interagency Academy in Columbia City Friday afternoon after a report that a student brought a gun to the school.
The school is in the 3500 block of S Ferdinand St.
SPD confirmed the gun was secured.
