Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Wash. — Police are investigating after a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Sunday night in Arlington.

Officers were called after 7:30 p.m. to 173rd Place Northeast and Smokey Point Boulevard.

The pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center, police said.

No details into what happened have been immediately made available.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
