SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a pedestrian died in a crash in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood.
On Monday night, a driver was heading northbound in the 13300 block of Lake City Way when she hit a pedestrian in the roadway.
Investigators said the pedestrian was not on a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision.
The 53-year-old pedestrian was taken to Harborview Medical Center and police said she died a day after the crash.
Police said the driver stopped at the scene and police interviewed her. They found no signs of impairment.
