Paddleboarder pulled from water at Star Lake

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A 23-year-old paddleboarder was pulled from the water at Star Lake on Friday evening, according to King County deputies.

Rescuers were called to the lake after the man fell into the water without a life jacket.

Medics who arrived at the scene performed lifesaving measures and then took the man to Valley Medical Hospital. He was in serious condition upon arrival.

KIRO 7 is working to get more information into the incident.

It is not yet known what the exact circumstances were when the man fell in.
