Westbound I-90 in Seattle fully reopened after overturned semi blocked all lanes

SEATTLE — All westbound lanes of Interstate 90 in Seattle have reopened after a semi-truck rolled over and blocked the highway just before Friday’s morning commute.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said the closure was just east of I-5, near milepost 3. Westbound traffic is being diverted onto Rainier Avenue South.

Washington State Patrol confirmed no injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash first happened just after midnight, and by 1:30 a.m., officials had closed all lanes while crews worked to remove the truck. As of 5:15 a.m., all lanes were fully reopened.
