BOTHELL, Wash. — Drivers traveling north on State Route 527 in Bothell should prepare for overnight lane and ramp closures next week as crews work on a fish passage project near Interstate 405.
Up to two northbound lanes of SR 527 near the I-405 interchange will close overnight Monday, Nov. 9, and Thursday, Nov. 12, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The closures are scheduled from 10 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday and from 11 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday. Work will pause Tuesday and Wednesday nights in observance of Veterans Day.
The northbound SR 527 on-ramp to northbound I-405 will also close during the work. Ramp traffic will be detoured south to Northeast 195th Street.
Crews are working on the Queensborough Creek fish passage and will install supports for a new connection beneath SR 527 as part of WSDOT’s I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project.
WSDOT said nearby residents should expect nighttime construction noise as crews install piles using an auger. Drivers should also expect delays approaching the work zone.
Additional closures along SR 527 are expected later in November as crews complete the work.
