KENT, Wash. — More than a dozen mayors aired their frustrations about drug addiction in their communities on stage.
The event was called “Hey Bob” and was hosted by Battlefield Addiction at Kent Meridian High School on Thursday night.
A packed audience watched mayors, politicians, and political candidates pass the microphone between themselves as they discussed challenges and hopes about stopping the fentanyl crisis.
Among the crowd was Rebecca Martinez, who appreciated all the mayors who did show up for the “Hey Bob” conversation.
“There were a lot of good points hit, and that definitely things should be worked on together,” said Martinez.
