LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Lynnwood police are asking the public for help identifying a man who stole a woman’s purse and punched a Macy’s employee on Monday.
The theft happened Monday afternoon inside the Lynnwood Macy’s, where the man reached through an elderly woman’s walker to steal her purse.
A loss prevention officer attempted to stop the man and get the purse back, but the man ran out the door, turned back and punched the employee in the face.
The theft and assault were captured on security cameras.
