SHORELINE, Wash. — A 21-year-old man died Friday night when the car he was driving collided with the back of a semi truck that was stopped for a red light in Shoreline.
At 10:48 p.m., Shoreline police received reports of street racers around Aurora Avenue and North 155th Street in Shoreline, where some of the cars were seen heading south on Aurora toward Seattle.
A green 1995 Honda Accord, which may have been involved in the racing, was reportedly speeding north on Aurora and collided with the back of a stopped semi truck at North 145th street, according to police.
The driver died at the scene and there were no other injuries reported.
