Man in critical condition after crashing into Port Angeles home

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after his car crashed into a Port Angeles home Monday, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the collision at the home located at 883 Monroe Road shortly after 9:30 p.m.

Crews with Fire District 2 and the Port Angeles Fire Department also responded to the collision.

Upon arriving at the scene, responders found a 2018 Tesla had crashed into the side of the home, with the driver trapped inside.

The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

No one inside the home was injured.

Police are investigating the collision as a probable DUI.
