Washington State Patrol says the rapper Macklemore has been cited for driving on a suspended license over an unpaid ticket.

Macklemore crashed with a suspected drunken driver on Whidbey Island last week.

WSP reports the crash happened at 10:45 p.m. at Cascade Avenue and Sixth in Langley.

Officers said a 24-year-old man driving a Chevrolet pickup crossed the center line and struck Macklemore’s 2016 Mercedes head-on.

The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital. He was arrested for investigation of DUI and a warrant for a blood sample was served and then taken at the hospital.

Macklemore was not hurt, but one of his two passengers was treated for a minor cut to the head, according to TMZ, who first reported the story.

His license has since been reinstated.
