A fundraising project at the Burien Community Center Saturday provided about 200 high school students with donated dresses, shoes and jewelry.
The event was for any student within the Highline School District.
Additionally, each student received a personal shopper for the day to help them find the perfect prom dress.
The annual event, called Project Promise, is in its eighth year.
About 1,000 dresses and 300 pairs of shoes were donated.
Students can keep the dresses at no charge or donate them for students to use next year.
