RAINIER VALLEY, Wash. — Link light rail trains have been delayed this morning, Sept. 15, because of a crash with an empty school bus.

According to Sound Transit, the bus was traveling “at low speed” close to S. Brandon St in Rainier Valley.

Sound Transit also confirmed there were no students on the bus at the time.

All of the passengers aboard the light rail were “safely moved to another train that was out of service,” according to Sound Transit.

KIRO 7 was on scene and confirmed the damage to the bus.

KIRO 7 can also confirm that the train is now gone, but it also appeared to have damage, as well.
