Light rail service resumes between Columbia City and Othello after crash

SEATTLE, Wash. — A crash has shut down light rail service in Seattle between Columbia City and Othello Wednesday morning, according to a statement from Sound Transit.

The Seattle Fire Department said a 20-year-old man was involved in the crash but was at the scene and uninjured.

Sound Transit ordered a Line 1 shuttle bus to replace the train route immediately after the collision and announced shortly before 11 am that Line 1 had resumed service.
