Level 3 evacuation canceled in Frenchman Coulee climbing area after wildfire

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A level 3 evacuation notice has been canceled in the Frenchman Coulee climbing area of Grant County after a wildfire.

The evacuation notice was issued at 5:35 p.m. for the area of 21900 block of Vantage Road Southwest.

Grant County deputies went from door to door to notify people in the affected area.

Authorities did not say how large the fire got but did say it was caused by fireworks.

No injuries were reported.
