TACOMA, Wash. — Fireworks are being banned in more places this year than ever before.

If you find yourself frustrated by all the strict new fireworks laws, KIRO 7 found a spot where you can light fireworks off every day and night through the Fourth of July.

And Miles believes outlawing fireworks is like celebrating freedom and independence in reverse.

The location:  Freedom Lot at 2102 East Alexander Street in the Tacoma Tideflats. It’s also known as Firecracker Alley.

“The bans have gotten so strict. You know, that people can’t even celebrate anymore,” says Robert Miles, with the Puyallup Tribe.
