KING COUNTY, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office is welcoming two new dogs to its K-9 unit.
Chuck, a 14-month-old, long-haired German shepherd originally from Slovakia, will be assigned to Deputy Sare when training starts in May, deputies said.

Geppo, a 3-year-old German shepherd originally from Germany, will replace Deputy Stratton’s K-9 Luky who is retiring due to age, deputies said.
Both of the dogs came from Alderhorst International in Riverside, California – a family-owned business that provides dog training.
“Both (are) very nice dogs with high skill levels,” an official with the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a news release.
