KIRKLAND, Wash. — Juanita Beach has reopened after being closed from sewer overflow that started on March 13.
The city of Kirkland said that after testing the water quality the city of Seattle and King County recommended opening Juanita Beach Park again.
The sewer overflow made water bacteria levels dangerous for the public and animals.
The park opened Saturday and closure signs were removed.
