KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — Are you dressing your pet up for Halloween? The Kitsap Humane Society wants to see your creepy critters.
The shelter’s annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Photo Contest and fundraiser is back.
It raises money for the shelter’s lifesaving programs and services, including animal sheltering and care, veterinary services, foster, canine behavior training, and more.
From now until October 30, you can submit photos and vote for your favorite costumed pet.
Submit a photo of your pet’s Halloween look. Pictures can include more than one pet.
Members of the community will vote on their favorites.
The photo with the most votes in each category wins a Kitsap Humane Society gift basket.
Photo submissions are $10 per entry, and you can enter as many photos as you’d like.
Each vote is $1, and all proceeds will go towards caring for vulnerable animals in need at Kitsap Humane Society.
You don’t have to live in Kitsap County to participate – everyone is welcome.
The winners will be announced on Halloween.
