SEATTLE — Seattle firefighters are wrapping up operations after an early morning house fire in North Seattle early Wednesday.
The fire in the Roosevelt neighborhood broke out at about 3 a.m. at a home on Roosevelt Way Northeast at Northeast 61st Street, near Roosevelt Square.
Video from the scene showed the roof was damaged. Firefighters cut a hole in it to vent the flames.
It is unclear if anyone was inside the home when the fire started.
All southbound lanes of Roosevelt Way were blocked from 61st to 63rd but have since reopened.
