HOOD CANAL, Wash. — Center Valley Animal Rescue says crews responded to a call of a harbor seal found in Hood Canal that had an injured eye and a nasal infection on Thursday.
Rescuers safely captured the seal and brought it to a medical facility where x-rays were performed and they found fragments from a bullet, according to a social media post.
Staff are currently running more medical tests but cannot report on the likelihood of survival they say.
