Gov. Jay Inslee appeared on CBS Sunday morning and urged all Americans to wear masks.

Inslee also took a jab at President Donald Trump’s pandemic response, challenging him to focus on wearing masks and protecting Americans’ health over tweeting about monuments.

“Now we need a president who will care more about living Americans and less about dead Confederates. This has an enormous impact. And if we can get everybody wearing a MAGA hat to wear a mask, we’re going to tame this virus, because this masking is very, very effective. And I do want to reiterate, this is the way to open our economy,” Inslee said on “Face The Nation.”

It requires you to wear a mask inside a public space or in line to enter it, waiting for or riding public transportation, and outdoors if you’re unable to practice social distancing.

A Statewide mask order went into effect in Washington state on Friday.
