Comey's speaking event comes ahead of his visit to the Amazon headquarters on Monday.
KIRO 7's Joanna Small reports that people began lining up outside Campion Hall at 5:30 p.m., a half-hour before doors opened to the public.
Comey's new book "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership," covers his 20-year career in American government. He worked as Deputy Attorney General for the Department of Justice prior to serving as FBI director, first under President Obama and then under President Trump until he was fired in May 2017.
Those who attend the event will receive a copy of Comey's new book.
