Fog again tomorrow morning, sunshine Sunday afternoon

SEATTLE, Wash. — An area of low pressure that has been off the West Coast for the past few days is finally weakening and moving south.

Our forecast calls for mainly dry weather Saturday through Monday. Tonight will be partly cloudy, and overnight, low temperatures will drop back into the low 40s around Puget Sound, with 30s away from the water. There will be another round of frost in some of the colder places and thick fog will likely develop again by tomorrow morning.

The fog should burn off after sunrise tomorrow and give us a nice day. High temperatures Sunday, with some sunshine, will reach the mid 50s.

The extended outlook into next week calls for variable clouds Monday, but it should still be a dry day. Tuesday, another weather system will approach the West Coast, and we could start to track some showers on the coast. The front will likely move through Wednesday and bring a couple of showers. After that, it looks like the long-range weather pattern will set up to deliver some rain showers every few days through next weekend.

Long range forecast models are hinting that we’ll be tracking on and off rain for the first part of November. No surprise here. November is historically the rainiest month of the year in Seattle.

Daytime high temperatures for the next week will be in the mid 50s, and overnight lows will be in the 40s. We are on track for typical weather (cloudy, cool, and rainy) in the month of November for Western Washington.

Enjoy a nice couple of dry days before a few showers pop up on the radar again next week.
