SEATTLE — One of the U.S. military’s Black Hawk helicopters appeared to pass through a burst of fireworks during the Seattle Seahawks’ pregame flyover at Lumen Field on Monday night.
Four Black Hawks flew over the stadium as part of the national anthem ceremony before the Seahawks’ Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears.
After the first three helicopters passed over the Hawks Nest in the north end zone, fireworks launched from the top of the tower appeared to erupt in the path of the fourth helicopter.
The following video was sent to MyNorthwest by Morgan, a Seahawks fan who attended the game and filmed the incident.

The fourth helicopter continued flying behind the other three after clearing the fireworks. No damage was apparent in the footage.
Flyovers are typically timed to coincide with the latter portion of the national anthem. On Monday night, however, the anthem had concluded just before the four Black Hawks approached Lumen Field from the south end zone.
