Firefighters respond to fully involved house fire in Wallingford

Firefighters with the Seattle Fire Department responded to a fully involved house fire in Wallingford Friday morning, according to video from the scene.

At about 8:25 a.m., crews were arriving to the fire at a vacant house in the 4300 block of 5th Avenue Northeast.

Firefighters on the scene reported seeing flames through the roof.

By 8:36 a.m., crews had water on the building and were evacuating nearby homes as a safety precaution.

The flames could be seen from Interstate 5, as smoke covered the area, according to Washington State Department of Transportation cameras.
