Firefighters extinguished a brush fire near State Route 2 in Douglas County on Sunday afternoon.
At around 2 p.m., the Washington State Patrol asked drivers to be cautious while driving through the area as firefighters mopped up.
The highway is open in both directions, WSP confirmed.
