SEATTLE — The Seattle Fire Department has extinguished a fire at a home in West Seattle that was under construction.
It happened on Beach Drive Southwest early Wednesday evening.
Firefighters report that flames were coming from the first floor of the two-story home when they arrived.
The fire extended to the wall and into the attic space.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
The department says there were no injuries.
