Lower Queen Anne apartment evacuated for hazardous levels of carbon monoxide

The Seattle Fire Department evacuated all three floors of an apartment complex on the 100 block of Warren Avenue North in Seattle’s lower Queen Anne neighborhood due to dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.

Kaila Lafferty, a department spokesperson, said firefighters found the source was a gas-powered pressure washer someone had been using in the building’s basement.
