A man wanted by the FBI for allegedly vandalizing an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in Atlanta could be traveling in Washington. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to his location, arrest, and conviction.
What happened at the Atlanta ICE building
Authorities said Ronald Scott Watson was part of a group that used rocks, fireworks, and Molotov cocktails to cause more than $78,000 in damage to the building in the summer of 2020.
“On July 25, 2020, shortly before midnight, a crowd gathered at the Atlanta ICE building and protested outside a fenced area. At the same time, several masked individuals wearing dark clothing breached the fences and vandalized the building,” according to the FBI. “The rioters used rocks, cinder blocks, modified fireworks, Molotov cocktails, lighter fluid bottles, and other materials to cause more than $78,000 in damage.”
Charges against Ronald Scott Watson
Watson is charged with malicious damage and attempt to damage by means of fire or an explosive, a building and other personal and real property, in whole or in part owned and possessed by, and leased to, the United States.
Suspect description and tattoos
Watson, 29, is white with brown eyes and brown hair. He stands at 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 134 pounds.
Watson has ties to Atlanta and Portland. His tattoos include a woman plowing and a fish skull fence on his left arm, and three faces on his right arm.
“He may have changed his appearance and may be dressing in women’s clothing,” the FBI stated.
Watson has used the following aliases: Sarah Watson, Miranda Kyle, Emily Smith and Victoria Watson, according to the FBI.
