An endangered 21-year-old man from Seattle has been missing for nearly a week.
Jakhobi Hale has been missing since Saturday after traveling east of Darrington, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Hale was visiting a family member’s property and was last seen Saturday after saying he was heading into the mountains.
The sheriff’s office said search and rescue teams have been actively searching for Hale.

Seventy-five volunteers searched the area, but the sheriff’s office said there has been no sign of Hale.
Hale has limited outdoor experience and reportedly left with a machete, a rain jacket, and a flashlight.
Authorities described Hale as a light-skinned Black man, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing around 195 pounds.
Anyone with information on Hale is urged to call 911 immediately.
