EVERETT, Wash. — Troopers with Washington State Patrol say a pedestrian died after being hit by a car Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 2:30 a.m. on State Route 99 at Lincoln Way, just south of Everett.
All northbound traffic was diverted for several hours, but the crash has been cleared.
Troopers say the driver stayed on scene and was cooperative. They were not impaired.
The person who died has not been identified at this time.
