KENT, Wash. — A section of road in South King County closed because of a deadly crash between a car and a Metro bus.
The King County Sheriff’s Office was called to 277th and 83rd Ave. S. between Auburn and Kent around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
The driver of the car is confirmed dead.
According to the sheriff’s office, some people on the bus were hurt and taken to a nearby hospital. No word on the seriousness of their injuries.
The bus driver wasn’t hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
No word on how long the road will be closed.
