Driver arrested, gun seized in Green Lake road rage incident

SEATTLE — Seattle police arrested a man accused of pointing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident near Green Lake.

At around 5:15 p.m. Monday, two drivers got into an argument near North 49th Street and Green Lake Way North. A man driving a black Durango SUV, then pointed a gun at the victim and drove next to the victim’s car, according to Seattle police.

When the victim was able to pull off the road, they called 911 with information about the driver.

Officers identified the driver and went to the man’s home, where his SUV was parked. The man was arrested when he came out of his house.

Seattle police said the suspect is a felon and is not allowed to legally have a gun.

After getting a warrant, officers searched his home and found a handgun.

The man was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
