About 200 people have been evacuated from an office building north of a construction site where a 2-inch gas line is leaking.
Firefighters were at the scene of the natural gas leak at 1287 Westlake Avenue North in Seattle. Seattle fire said the leak was caused by construction work.
Firefighters were called out about 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Seattle fire said Puget Sound Energy workers are at the scene.
People were evacuated from an eight-story office building to the north of the construction site as a precaution.
