Two women injured in Rainier Valley double shooting

SEATTLE — Two people were injured in a double shooting Friday night in Seattle.

Police were called to the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South where two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Seattle firefighters said a 20-year-old woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition and another 20-year-old was transported in stable condition.

It is not yet known what led to the shootings.

On Saturday, a spokesperson for Harborview said one woman remained in the intensive care unit in serious condition and the other was released from the hospital.

A search is underway for the shooters.

The investigation remains ongoing.
