WHITE CENTER, Wash. — A person was found dead close to the White Center Pond Natural Area, Monday, Oct. 19, according to King County Sheriff’s Office.
King County Sheriff’s Office Communications Manager Brandyn Hull says the body was discovered after King County firefighters put out an illegal burn in the same area Monday Morning.
Hull believes this area is “some sort of encampment,” and confirmed that the case has been passed to the Major Crimes division as a death investigation.
