INDEX, Wash. — After December’s historic flooding in western Washington, Snohomish County officials have finished damage estimates on a section of Index-Galina Road that washed out into the North Fork of the Skykomish River.
The cost to repair the section between mileposts 10 and 14 is estimated at $900,000, Snohomish County Public Works posted on X.
The county is seeing emergency federal funding to help with repair costs.
