Cold weather shelters open across Western Washington in response to low temperatures, potential snow

As people brace for incoming cold temperatures this week, with lows in the 20s and 30s, organizations are opening cold weather shelters across Western Washington.

Pierce County

Information provided by Pierce Transit; Tacoma-Pierce County Coalition to End Homelessness.

Pierce Transit is offering free rides to warming centers. Riders just have to tell the driver that they’re traveling to or from a warming center or shelter. The service will be running from Tuesday to Friday.
