According to the Kirkland Police Department in a post on X.com, a child has been taken to Harborview Medical Center after colliding with a car while riding an electric bike.
The crash happened on NE 124th St & 109th CT NE in the Totem Lake neighborhood, and resulted in the closure of both westbound lanes and turn lanes of NE 124th St.
The department said that the child was seriously injured and has asked the public to avoid the area as police investigate.
