Carpool lanes on I-5 in Tacoma will close during this time frame this week

TACOMA, Wash. — A heads up if you regularly drive Interstate 5.

High-occupancy lanes in Tacoma will be closed for a portion of Thursday, Nov. 13.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says the closure will happen from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It’s so crews can repair message signs near State Route 16.

The northbound and southbound HOV lane exits to SR 16 will be impacted.

Drivers will be routed to Exit 132 on northbound I-5, and Exit 132 B on southbound I-5.
