Car flips upside down on I-5 in Olympia

OLYMPIA, Wash. — One person was taken to the hospital after a car rolled upside down on I-5 in Olympia.

It happened just after 6 a.m. Sunday at the US-101 interchange.

When the fire department arrived, they saw the car on its roof. The driver and passenger both managed to escape.

One person was treated on scene, and the other was taken to St. Peter Hospital with minor injuries.

No word on the cause of the crash. The investigation has been turned over to Washington State Patrol.
