Barefoot man climbs crane in Los Angeles

At around 5 p.m. Sunday, witnesses reported a shirtless and shoeless man climbing a construction crane on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The unidentified man climbed 200 feet to the top of the crane and wrapped himself in an American flag,

The Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Fire Department and a police helicopter responded to the incident.

After three hours, the man descended on his own and was taken into custody.
