Auburn High School graduate thinks he has chance at the White House

A 1994 Auburn High School graduate hopes to be the wild card in the US presidential election.

Evan McMullin is a former CIA officer running as a conservative alternative.

McMullin thinks he has a shot at the White House if he wins Utah.

That's because it could prevent both Trump and Hillary from reaching 270 electoral votes, forcing the contest to the US House of Representatives where McMullin would be eligible.

"We knew we wouldn't be able to reach 270 votes in just a three-month presidential campaign, which clearly isn't ideal. But the reality is that both of these candidates are so deeply corrupt and so deeply unfit for the presidency that someone had to step in and try to block them both if the race was close,” said McMullin.

McMullin entered the race mid-August, which means he isn't on the Washington ballot.
