EVERETT, Wash. — Alaska Airlines is expanding its service out of Paine Field in Everett.
Starting this Fall, Alaska will begin growing seats from Seattle/Everett by 50%, adding new nonstop service to San Jose, California (SJC), and giving guests more options to reach popular destinations including Los Angeles (LAX), Portland (PDX), San Diego (SAN), and San Francisco (SFO).
Service to San Jose will begin in Spring 2027 and operate twice daily on Horizon Air.
“Paine Field is an important part of our Puget Sound network, giving guests a simpler, more convenient way to access Alaska’s West Coast flying. As we grow, we’re strengthening our presence across the region with more seats, more frequency and more convenient travel options for guests in Snohomish County, North Seattle and beyond,” Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Harrison said.
Travelers will also see added flights for routes already in service.
Here are some of the other additions:
- Los Angeles grows to twice daily, with both flights operated on larger Alaska 737 aircraft
- Portland grows to two daily flights
- More seats to San Diego and San Francisco
