Airport Way in Snohomish shut down as ‘large fire’ burns near train tracks, one injured

Airport Way in Snohomish was shut down Tuesday morning due to a large fire near the train tracks, according to Snohomish County Fire District 4.

At least one person was burned, firefighters say.

Drivers were asked to use an alternate route and watch for emergency crews working in the area.

As of 6:30, Snohomish Fire confirmed that the fire was out, with approximately 300’ of trestle burned.
