A magnitude 6.5 earthquake has struck off the coast of California.
The quake that struck at 6:50 a.m. Thursday had a depth of 6 miles.
The quake was 100 miles southwest of Eureka.
There is no tsunami danger for the West Coast.
People as far as southern Oregon reported feeling the quake.
