A two-year-old was shot in Tacoma on Tuesday night and is recovering at a local hospital.
Tacoma Police said the shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. near S. Steele Street and 96th Street S.
The toddler was taken to the hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.
Approximately two hours after the shooting, police located and arrested two suspects. One on suspicion of first-degree assault. The other is suspected of rendering criminal assistance.
Tacoma Police said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information or video of the shooting is asked to call the Tacoma Police Department or 911.
