SEATTLE — Two Seattle farmers markets reopened for the first time in weeks and organizers said there were some changes.
Seattle’s neighborhood farmers markets had to close because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The University District farmers market opened Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and organizers laid out guidelines for customers and vendors. Click here for more information.
Ballard’s farmers market will reopen Sunday but its organizers said it will be a drive-thru market. There will still be an option to walk up and shop but customers are being encouraged to drive-through as much as possible, organizers said. Click here for more information.
