2 firefighters injured in crash after ambulance and car collide

SEATTLE — Two firefighters were injured in a crash Friday evening after their ambulance collided with a car in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. at 4th Avenue and Battery Street.

Officials are investigating what caused the crash.

The firefighters were taken to Harborview Medical Center for injury evaluations.

There were no patients in the ambulance at the time of the crash.
